Live 2 CREATE!

I got home from CHA late Thursday night and really just in time because after I drove to Russellville to pick up Castor I was half way home when it started sleeting! I have to say it was actually quite nice being snowed/iced in for the next few days because it meant I got to spend some quality time with the family after being gone so long. A few new things happened while I was away though…

It seems that Castor can now basically sit by himself…he has two new teeth coming in…and he now eats three meals (baby food that is) a Day!! The poor thing refused to take a bottle while I was gone (which is unusual or I would not have left) so to make up for it my sister n law made sure he ate plenty of food and cereal mixed with formula. He is back to nursing just fine now…but he is a hungry little baby and apparently enjoyed all the extra baby food.

My husband had a job interview while I was away and found out he got the job the day I was on my way home! This is terrific news and very exciting for us, however it means this will be a crazy month and lots of new things coming our way. I’m trying to prepare the kids for moving and talking to them about changes…

Last night Memphis was feeling a little sad so I sat down to talk with him and explained to him that change can be good and that I myself went to 8 different schools before 6th grade! He was like wow…really? Of course I don’t want to move him around that much…but I do think it will be easier for the kids while they are young. We are not entirely sure where we will be moving just yet, but we do feel blessed for receiving this opportunity and are looking forward to a fresh start!
