All this week, the Stampendous Design Team has been enjoying the fun crafting potential of combining their fantastic stamp images with EnviroTex Jewelry Resin from Environmental Technologies. For my second resin project, I decided to create some resin papers!
{April’s Azure Dream Paper}
* Stampendous Supplies: Dandelion Wish Perfectly Clear Stamp
* Envirotex Jewelry Resin
* Tsukineko: Staz On
* Stampington & Company: Artists’ Paper ” The Restless Sea” by Chelsea Edwards
* I started by stamping some pretty dandelions onto some heavy weight artists’ paper using staz on.
* This is what it looked like after I finished my stamping.
* Then I mixed up my resin and used a make up applicator to rub it over both sides of my paper giving it a good coat of resin. Then I set it to the side to dry!
* Here are a couple of shots of the paper after it dried. It was so cool! I let the lights glare on it to help show the glaze of resin on the paper.
* I can’t wait to scrap with these!!!
{April’s Autumn Spice Resin Paper}
* Stampendous Supplies: Autumn Words Stamp (New for CHA 2012)
* Envirotex Jewelry Resin
* Tsukineko: Staz On
* Stampington & Company: Artists’ Paper ” To Whom It May Concern” by Chelsea Edwards
* I basically repeated the same process for my second paper using a different stamp and artists’ paper.
* This is how it looked after I stamped it, but before I added the resin.
* I gave this paper two good coats on the front side, instead of just one like I did on the first paper, and I liked the end results better because it had more resin and a glossier finish as you can see below!
{Iris Kraft ResinTag}
* Stampendous Supplies: Jumbo Iris Cling Stamp
* Envirotex Jewelry Resin
* Tsukineko: Staz On
* Ranger: Kraft Tag
* I had a little resin left over in my cup, so rather than waste it, I decided to cover a tag and stamped owl image that I had already created the day before.
{Steam Punk Owl Paper Resin Embellishment}
* Stampendous Supplies: Steampunk Owl (New for CHA 2012)
* Envirotex Jewelry Resin
* Tsukineko: Staz On
* STAEDTLER: Watercolor Crayons
* Other: Watercolor paper, Gesso
I had a lot of fun making the resin papers and look forward to making more. I can’t wait to use them in my art projects and promise to show them here on my blog soon!

Carmi Cimiata of the Resin Crafts Blog has helped us learn so much about how this product works, and what it can and cannot do. We’re so appreciative of her and the folks at ETI who sent us all some resin to play with! I know I for one am sending some love their way seeing as how they just gave me my first opportunity to play with resin!
This is sooooo cool!
I haven’t worked much with resin since it became “the thing” in the 1970s! I have recently picked it up again and and so excited to see all these great new ideas!
Love your paper! So fun!
What a great idea! I’m going to have to try this.
Wow–I would have never thought of this–great results!
How cool is this? I love the idea of scrapbook paper! The azure sheet is just gorgeous!
Your papers are beautiful! I love your stamping and painting techniques but my favorite thing is that you used a make-up sponge to paint the resin on. I haven’t done any paper yet because I didn’t want to use a brush even the cheap ones. I am so glad I stopped by!
Love the resin papers and love that dandelion stamp!
Can’t wait to see what you create with them!
love this idea!!!! must try it sometime.
I really like your stamp work…gorgeous!
This is next on my list to try with the resin! I had no clue there would be so many cool techniques that you could do with the resin!
These papers are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
Love these papers. The wash of colors behind the images are beautiful!.
I would never have thought to do this. Looks amazing! Can’t wait to see how the papers look in layouts!
What beautiful paper and a very unique way to use resin.

April, your papers are fantastic! I couldn’t pick my favorite. They are all stunning. Please share any projects that you might use them on. I would love to see the end result.
These are fantastic! Love how they came out! Can’t wait to see what you make with them, but cutting them will be heartbreaking! Are they pliable enough to use punches?

Love the papers, and the cute tag especially caught my eye! Beautiful work!
Those papers are beautiful! The first one is my favorite – looks like a watercolor painting!
That is really cool paper. I would never have thought to put a resin finish on paper for scraping. I do like the water print aqua paper especially.
Now I wanna play with resin!
WOW!!!! How totally COOL!!!!
Great idea to use the resin on paper!
The dandelion card is so inviting….its as if, its asking me to blow them out from the card!
Usha
Love it!
I’m going to have to try making some paper! That’s so cool! Can you cut it out with dies? Let me know when you used them, I’d love to see what you do with them.
Never thought about this use for resin–nice!
Gorgeous projects and another fun blog hop! Thanks for the inspiration!

Love resin on paper. Question though, in the first one did you do both sides of the paper at the same time? I have ususally done one a time and let it dry.
I like doing this over old sheet music too
Very cool!

Wow, your paper looks so cool! I love how glossy it is!
Gorgeous! Really neat ideas.
This is amazing! I was just looking into stamping and checking out some tutorials yesterday. I already work with resin and this just combines two of my new favorite things! Excellent project idea!!!
