As of right now it seems like I get about 10 – 15 minutes free during different parts of the day to accomplish something other than nursing, changing diapers, or sleeping. For me it is all good though. I am truly enjoying having a baby again and just wanted to share some quick pics with you of Castor.

I also wanted to mention that it seems as though there were lots of little things I had forgotten about when you have a newborn. Like getting ready to go somewhere…

Yesterday I had to take Castor to his first doctor’s appointment in Hot Springs and I woke up thinking….I will be sure to leave early so we have plenty of time and I’m not rushed…etc..

Only I forgot how long it takes just to get ready to walk out the door with a baby! Here’s how my morning went:

* After waking up I feed Castor
* Castor decides he is really hungry and wants to eat for a very long time
* Castor falls asleep, I put him down thinking I will go get ready – get my pants on and my new nursing bra and he is now awake and needing diaper changed and apparently can’t even wait for me to get a shirt on.
* Castor then spits up all over my new nursing bra
* Change Castor – feed him again – lay him down
* Get shirt on, brush teeth, starting to pack baby bag – Castor is up again.
* Castor gets changed and then spits up on mommy’s shirt. (now I’m re-thinking that salsa I had for lunch yesterday!)
* Put Castor in vibrating chair, rush to get everything else ready
* 10am – Eat breakfast at the speed of light hoping to choke it down before I need to pick him up again
* Pick up baby, change baby, feed baby – oopps I can hear that another diaper change is in order
* Finally get stuff ready to put in car
* Dress Castor in really cute new outfit…2 seconds later he spits up on really cute outfit…(*x#@% that Salsa!)
* Decide it’s okay will change him after Car ride
* Get him in car seat and all buckled up, fixing to pick up and leave – what’s that? oh yeah…well we will for sure need to change diaper again now!
* Change diaper, buckle up car seat, head outside, what’s that? I forgot something….can’t leave baby in hot car….pick up carrier, go in, retrieve missing item, get in car and pray everything will be okay for the hour and half long drive.

Wow….the things you forget huh?
