Ever since I got my iPhone a few months ago, my kids have been addicted to it! Their favorite thing to do is shoot mini videos and take pictures with it. Often I find a variety of, well let’s just say Unique photos on my phone and it always makes me laugh. I decided to print out one of their random photos and create a layout about it.
* Supplies Used For Project:
- Cardstock: Core’dinations (Snowflake)
- Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray
- Template: Pink Paislee
- Chipboard Letters: Basic Grey
- Pigment Liner Pen: STAEDTLER
- Red & White Paper Flower: Created by Gladys Rosenberger
- Twine: Queen & Company
- Paper Flower & Sticker: Echo Park
- Tissue Tape: Tim Holtz
- Distressed Tape: Market Street
- Paper Tape: 7gypsies
- iPhone Editing App: Picture Show
* I used Sakura’s Quickie Glue pen to glue down my Baker’s Twine and then I added my journaling in along the twine!
* My friend Gladys made this gorgeous paper flower. It did have more layers, but I took off a few so I could embellish the center.
* I made this a couple of weeks ago at a retreat and I seemed to be on a washi/paper tape kick that weekend! I love using it to decorate my pages because it’s so easy to add and move around.
* I created the background by laying down a few templates on a sheet of white cardstock and then misted over them with some bright red spray ink!
Happy Creating,
April
The misting looks great, April and I love the journaling along the twine!
I love misting and stenciling on a page. One of my favorite things to do but don’t do it often. Wonder why? Maybe too many colors to choose from! LOL! Thanks for the reminder. I’ll have to try this Dylusion ink spray
April this page is great! I love the mystery photo. They grow up way too fast.
I love the story behind the “Mystery Photo”! My grand kids have taken my camera for a few spins themselves! I loved how you used the sticker for the flower middle and the misting! Love Penny
